While the summer months are notoriously quiet for WMCD, our volunteers have been hard at work preparing to announce our 2025 all-nighter and finalizing details for our 2024 fundraisers. To keep things simple, we’ve compiled a list of all the important dates and events that you should add to your calendar to stay in the loop!
August 12: 2025 All-Nighter Announcement
It’s hard to believe that it’s already been five months since our Tropic Fever All-Nighter, but that means it’s time to get ready to do it again in 2025! Tune in to all of our social media pages, or check back on this website, on August 12 to hear when our event is, the theme, the name, and which charities we’ll be supporting as our recipients.
August 21: Western MA Quarter Auction
Join us at 6:00 pm at Amvets Post in Chicopee for a night full of high-energy bidding and winning! We’re excited to be a recipient of the August Western MA Quarter Auction for the second year in a row. We had so much fun last year, and we’re counting down the days until we’re back! Featured vendors are Be-You Boutique, Epicure, Wendy’s Tea & Tumblers, Pig Candy, Tastefully Simple, and more.
October 27: This and That Quarter Auction
Also for the second year, we’re bringing our quarter auction to the East Mountain Country Club in Westfield! Doors open at 1:00 pm and the event will begin at 2:00 pm. Every dollar we raise helps us support our charity recipients, who battle food insecurity, childhood cancer, and provide critical grief support. Stay tuned for vendors. Bring some quarters, your family, and friends, and have a blast. Will we see you there?

November 23: FunnyRaising Comedy Show
Laugh the night away with us— for charity! Jess Miller presents a FunnyRaising Comedy Show at the East Mountain Country Club in Westfield, MA, featuring comedians Linda Belt, Timothy Lovett, and Kathe Farris. Celebrate WMCD’s 2nd birthday on November 23rd with us. Doors open at 6:30 pm, and the show begins at 8:00 pm. A dinner buffet is available prior to the show beginning for just $15.
December 3: Giving Tuesday
Giving Tuesday is an annual day of giving, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, for non-profit organizations. By supporting WMCD’s Giving Tuesday campaign, every dollar you donate helps us empower youth to support charities who:
Provide critical youth grief support.
Support families and children with cancer.
Battle widespread food insecurity.
December 7: Pancake Breakfast
Join us for our third annual Pancake Breakfast! Enjoy fluffy pancakes, bacon, and juice, take photos at our holiday-themed backdrops, enter to win raffles, and meet Santa too! The event runs 8:00 am - 11:00 am in the Youth Rec Center at 127 Holyoke Road, in Westfield, MA. Tickets are all $10 or less and are on sale online and at the door.
