It’s the most wonderful time of the year - and you know what that means! Our 3rd Annual Pancake Breakfast is coming up on Saturday, December 7 from 8:00am to 11:00am. Ahead of our most joyful fundraiser of the year, we wanted to take a look back at our first two Pancake Breakfasts and talk about what to expect for this year!

Back in 2022, the event was called a ‘Breakfast with Santa’, and we had a ton of families come in to meet Santa Claus and enjoy a holiday breakfast together! We also set up a few tables full of perfect gift-giving raffle prizes, ranging from toys for children to over $100 in gift cards for the parents to enjoy a meal out!

But in 2023, we switched things up by calling it a ‘Pancake Breakfast’, because we realized that there was something for all ages to enjoy at the event! Even if you aren’t bringing little children, you can still enjoy the breakfast of pancakes, sausage, and juice, take photos at our holiday themed backdrops, enter any of our raffles, and meet Santa too!

And that brings us to present day, where we’re looking forward to spending a cozy winter morning with members of the community who want to celebrate the holiday season and make memories together, all while benefitting local charity. Every dollar we raise benefits three local charities supporting children with cancer, battling food insecurity, and providing critical youth grief support.

“It’s always been so special to see families come together and spend time celebrating the holiday season with such joy and good energy in the room. There’s no better feeling than seeing the community join in on a feel-good event that gives right back to important causes,” said Dominic Monti, a volunteer for WMCD.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for ages 6-12, and free for children under the age of 6. The event runs from 8:00am to 11:00am and has open seating in the Youth Recreation Center located at 127 Holyoke Road in Westfield, Massachusetts.
