Out & About: WMS Open House

We were lucky enough to set up a table promoting all things WMCD at Westfield Middle School’s annual ‘Open House’ on Thursday night! At our table, staffed with representatives from our Steering Committee and Youth Team, students and families had the opportunity to stop by and learn about what we do, as well as spin our brand-new prize wheel! We had a lot of fun handing out prizes, ranging from some WMCD swag to candy. And of course, students could take a pencil (or two) to put to good use the in the classroom!

Debuting for the first time is our brand-new pop-up banner, covered with photos highlighting the fun and games of our all-nighters! We think it’s the perfect way to see just how much fun we have at a quick glance. But that wasn’t the only new thing at our table - we also launched our first posters for the Musical Midway All-Nighter, taking place on February 28th and March 1st, 2025. Twenty-five hours of food, games, music, dancing, karaoke, limbo, and so much more will all come before we know it.

We want to extend a huge thank you to the Westfield Middle School administration for believing in our cause, and for supporting hands-on leadership work for their students. And of course, thank you to all the families and students who stopped by our table. If you want to stay in the loop, follow us on social media, or send us questions at info@wmcd.org, and we’ll be sure to get back to you. We’ll have tables set up in more schools across Western Massachusetts soon… so keep an eye out!

Take a look at our brand-new pop-up banner, prize wheel, Musical Midway All-Nighter flyers, and more.
